From the Horsebox
Ed Walley and The Crocky Trail.
The Crocky Trail theme park in Cheshire is a paradise for children who want to run, jump and play in freedom. The name was inspired by Roald Dahl's poem, 'The Crocodile'
"No animal is half as vile
As Crocky-Wock, the crocodile.
On Saturdays he likes to crunch
Six juicy children for his lunch.."
and was built by Ed Walley for the children in his village.
Ed's description of his farm through history and the way he has been brought up were fascinating to listen to and meeting people like him is why we do our podcast!
